Refund and Cancellation Policy
At Rane Renovations LLC, we strive to provide high-quality renovation and construction services throughout Southern Indiana and Louisville, KY. Because our work involves labor, materials, scheduling, and project planning, we have established the following Refund & Cancellation Policy to ensure fairness and clarity.
1. Service Deposits
Most projects require a deposit before work begins.
Unless stated otherwise in your written contract:

Deposits are non-refundable, as they go toward securing labor, materials, and project scheduling.

A deposit may be refundable only if Rane Renovations LLC cancels the project for reasons unrelated to the customer.
Deposits protect both parties and allow us to reserve time and resources for your renovation.
2. Cancellations
A. Before Work Has Started
If you cancel a project before work begins, you may be responsible for:

The non-refundable deposit

Any materials already purchased

Any special-order items that cannot be returned
B. After Work Has Started
Once work has begun, no refunds will be issued for completed labor or purchased materials.
If you choose to stop a project mid-way, you will be invoiced for:

Completed labor
-
Materials used or ordered
-
Any outstanding costs outlined in your contract
3. Special-Order Items
Certain materials (custom doors, countertops, windows, cabinetry, flooring, etc.) may be non-returnable.
Customers may be required to pay for special-order items in full once they are ordered.
4. Service Issues or Warranty Concerns
If you are unhappy with part of your project, we offer:

A reasonable correction period, where we will attempt to fix workmanship issues

Warranty support as outlined in your individual project contract
Refunds are not issued for subjective dissatisfaction, but we will work with you to resolve legitimate issues.
5. Refunds for Overpayments
If an overpayment is made due to billing error, we will issue a refund within 7–10 business days via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
